Garrett began teaching swim lessons his freshman year of high school in his hometown of Memphis, TN. Since then, he continued to teach and became WSI certified in order to teach private lessons. His last two years of high school, he became the assistant coach for Colonial Country Club and helped coach age groups from 7 and under to 15-16. There, he also gave private coaching sessions to help work on the technical aspects and stroke refinement.
I recommend 2 sessions a week for 4 months to ensure swimmer has enough repetition and muscle memory to maintain what they have learned. Each lesson will be $37 and includes pool and locker room usage. Lesson length will vary based on level of swimmer and age. You can typically plan on about a 30 minute session. Lessons will be held at the Jefferson City Community Center in Jefferson City, TN.
